What a wonderful, generous young woman Deesh Sekhon must be.
Her Girlkind Foundation which she created to change the age-old tradition of female infanticide in some East Asian countries is very courageous, particularly because some people in her own community may not always support what she is trying to do.
I am sure that Langley MP, Mark Warawa, who is sponsoring a similar Bill 408 in the House of Commons will be encouraged that this grassroots foundation is advocating the very thing his Bill is hoping to bring into law.
