This is in reply to Rick Bakers comments on April 9.
Yes, if you have eight people in your house, your water usage rate will go up.
But why do you think its okay for and elderly couple living alone, or a single parent with one child, to support your large household?
I am not thrilled about paying a higher rate to support an estate house with swimming pool and hot tub and acres of lush green lawn.
If you have a large household, then you should pay your share of the water.
I have five people, but it's all a matter of conservation and paying my fair share.
Don't think of it as a household rate, but a per person rate.
