I have many teacher friends and you are completely wrong on disrespecting them.
Teachers are in university for minimum of five years, and those that have their masters degree have been in school for seven years.
They are professionals that help educate our children and need to be compensated for it.
Keep in mind all the free coaching they do, the preparation time before and afterschool, hours of weekend marking, and dealing with kids.
They are well underpaid compared to the rest of the country.
Time to buck up, B.C. government.
