Re: The accident at Maclure and Crossley.
This is a very bad intersection. I use it daily. I was almost hit there as well. I see people crossing the road to get to the park where there is no crosswalk.
When driving west and turning right onto Crossley from Maclure, there is no right lane turn-off. The cars are driving so fast on Maclure that you have to turn quickly. When forced to turn quickly there is a risk of hitting pedestrians.
The pedestrians often are crossing Crossley where you can’t see them and run the risk of getting hit. This is a great risk for more accidents and people getting hit. There needs to be a light at that intersection with crosswalks and a right-turn lane onto Crossley.
Especially now that the new Walmart is opened at Mt. Lehman, there will be more traffic on the road.
