Average Joe pays for city mistakes

I have lost faith in city council and the mayor.

On their recommendation we have already taken on a debt load for some futuristic projects that exceed common sense. Now we are being advised to buckle up, that more hits are coming to the pocketbook.

What happened to common sense? Why is more growth or any growth good, whatever the cost? Why do we not practise restraint in this era of shaky global economics?

It always comes back to the little people, the average Joe living in Abbotsford, whose responsibility it is to pay for every bad or questionable decision that comes from city hall.
