An interesting appointment for mediator (Charles Jago) in the education dispute. A golfing buddy at a past Liberal fundraiser I presume?
An independent thinker who clearly states his opinion in reports he writes for provincial government interests, regarding some of the points of contention at the bargaining table between BC teachers and BCPSEA.
Thus, as a mediator he has already made his position known, and likely will continue to do so while mediating as an independent thinker.
A shot in the arm for BCPSEA and a slap in the head for B.C. teachers.
