Wray Steeves

Wray Steeves of Abbotsford, BC passed away on March 3, 2017 at Royal Columbian Hospital. Wray was born in Hillsborough, New Brunswick on June 21, 1952. He moved to BC at a young age with his parents and grew up in Chilliwack. Numerous jobs took Wray north to Prince Rupert where he met Brenda. They later settled in Abbotsford, where he continued to sell real estate and most recently worked at Costco in Surrey. Predeceased by his mom Helen in 2011, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Brenda, his two sons Christopher (Jen) of Kelowna, BC and Michael of Edmonton, AB, his dad Ivan (Doris) of Hopewell Hill, NB, and his mother and father-in-law Catherine and Carl Olson of Port Alberni, BC as well as other family on Vancouver Island. His first grandchild, Cecily, was born February 27, 2017, and although he never met her in person, he saw her through video chat and was over the moon to meet her. There will be no service. His family requests donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
