SCHLECTER Wolfgang. 1931 ~ 2012
Wolfgang (Wolf) Schlecter passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital on September 6th, 2012. Wolf was born in Wappertal, Germany and immigrated to Canada, "I wanted to try something different.", in 1953. In his own words, "I have had a good life."
If the measure of a man is reflected by the women who loved him, he was truly extraordinary. He is predeceased by his wife Irmgard and companion Sinaida. He will be lovingly remembered by his companion June, his step-sons Glen (Courtnae) and Andre (Michele), and step-grandchildren Colum and Rowynn.
We thank the wonderful nurses (Lisa, Sari, Josephine) and staff at the Royal Columbian Hospital ICU for your compassionate care, which made this time a little more bearable. No service by request.
