Winifred Margaret Cole
August 5, 1912 - December 26, 2007
Passed away peacefully at Grand Street Lodge, Mission on Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Predeceased by her husband Albert (1983) of 47 years. Winnie is survived by her only daughter, Evelyn (Roger) Hilliard of Mission; five grandchildren: Leslie (Bruce) Roffrey of Port Coquitlam, Stephen (Pat) Hilliard, Daphne (Carl) Greer, Joan (Doug) McPherson all of Mission, and Louise ( Marcel) Ruel of Courtenay; six great-grandchildren, Amanda McPherson, Kenny Greer, Jamie and Kasey Ruel, Cole and Katlin Hilliard. Winnie is also survived by her only sister Alice Hayes of White Rock and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful nursing and support staff at the Grand Street Lodge for their excellent care of her. A memorial service was held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at the First Memorial Funeral Service.
