William (Bob) Robert McKenzie of Abbotsford, at the age of 77, passed away peacefully on December 10 at Chilliwack General Hospital.
Bob was born on January 22, 1939 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bob had three sisters Dorothy (Dot), Jean and Joyce .
Bob spent 22 1/2 years in the Canadian Service as an electrician. After retiring from the service Bob later became supervisor of the MSA Hospital in Abbotsford.
Bob is survived by his two sons Graham McKenzie and Scott McKenzie and daughter Kari Vermeer. Bob is also survived by three daughters-in-law; Kathy McKenzie, Coreen Jackson and Shelley McKenzie; son-in-law Bryan Vermeer and seven grandchildren; Adyson, Cole, Sarah, Skye, Cade, Genevieve and Cameron.
The celebration of life will be held at the Pentecostal Assembly Church, on Gladwin Road, Abbotsford on Thursday, December 21 at 11 AM. Graveside to follow.
