PARSONS, William Howard, passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Menno Home at the age of 86. After a full life, Bill was a Grenadier Guard in WW2 and as a police officer in the "Flying Squad" at Scotland Yard in London, Bill enjoyed his retirement in Canada. He is survived by his loving wife Olive of 67 years; his daughters Carol (Gerald), Linda, and Sally (Brian); grandchildren Esther, Ruth, Judith, Miriam, William, Richard, Katie, and Emma; and 11 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11am from the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. Bill's family would like to express their appreciation to the A.C.E. Unit of the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and the staff at the Menno Home for their wonderful care and support.
