William Edward (Bill) Shandley, born in Vancouver, April 8, 1915, passed away at MSA Hospital, July 28, 2003.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene, three daughters; Billie Ellingsen (Trig), Merritt, Kaye Vandermeulen (Sam), Abbotsford, Diane Matter (Rich), Quesnel and one son Guy (Debbie), Coquitlam. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Bill was a Charter Member of the Abbotsford Flying Club and a founding director of the Abbotsford Air Show.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Abbotsford Flying Club at the Abbotsford Airport on August 23, 2003 at 2 p.m.
