William D. (Bill) passed peacefully on January 9, 2006, aged 85 years. Predeceased by his wife of 51 years, May. He is lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Kelly of Vancouver. A veteran of World
War II, he served in the Westminster Regiment. Bill gave a lifetime of community service as a member of the BC Provincial Police, the RCMP, the RCAF Militial Police and finally as a dispatcher with the RCMP. He was an avid fisherman, billiards and darts player and a lifetime member and patron of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Pleasant View Care Home in Mission who made his final months both comfortable and happy.
