March 6, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Cholodylo on March 6, 2021. Bill is greatly missed by his wife of 43 years, Betty; his sons David (Geri) and Dan; as well as stepsons Alan and Les and other relatives and friends.
After serving in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Korean War he became an air traffic controller in Winnipeg. He later moved to Mission and was a dispatcher for the RCMP until he retired. He remained a naval history buff his entire life.
Due to COVID protocols a service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to BC Cancer Foundation or a charity that has special meaning to you.

We wrote your name in the sky, but the wind blew it away.
We wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away.
We wrote your name in our hearts, and forever it will stay.

We honour a life that was lived to the full, we honour a spirit now free.
You'll be long remembered, whenever we say:
"Fair winds and a following sea!"
