William (Bill) SALMON

William (Bill), of Lake Errock, BC, passed away February 3, 2007 in his 90th year. He is survived by his son Jack (Gay) Salmon of Lake Errock, his daughter Jill (Bill) Obedkoff and grandson Nicholas of Victoria, grand­daughters Rebecca Obedkoff and Paula Obedkoff of Vancouver.

Bill learned logging during the depression years in Chilliwack and made his living as a faller until the late 70s. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces in Europe during WWII. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a lifetime member of the Mission Rod & Gun Club. Bill will be missed by his many friends and family.

The Salmon/Obedkoff families wish to particularly thank the nursing staff and volunteers of the Christine Morrison Palliative Care Facility at Mission Memorial Hospital for their gentle care of Grandad.

A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at his home on Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 2:00 pm. All friends are welcome.
