It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Walter Clifford Fast, on March 28, 2019 at the young age of 67.
Walter is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jane Fast. He is survived by his sister Hilda; step-daughters, Roxane (Sean), Annemarie (Marcellus), Christina (Robin) and grandchildren, Connor, Caleb, Ava, Corinna, Morocca, Marcellus Jr., and Kaia.
He was predeceased by his mom and dad, Helen and Jacob; sisters, Freida, Elsie and Ann; and his late wife Shirley (Templeton).
With his family, he enjoyed many years of traveling, car shows and long drives with Jane. Walter also loved watching the sporting events of his children and grandchildren.
In 2011, Walter was unfortunately diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, which in the last seven months led to complications resulting in his untimely passing. Our beloved Walter; husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend is now at rest.
We invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life, Friday May 3, 2019 at 2 pm at the Legacy Sports Centre, #4-3270 Trethewey Street, Abbotsford, BC.
In honor of Walter, please feel free to wear shorts; he surely would have.
