June 25, 1933 - November 29, 2018
Virginia Jane Pinkerton passed away peacefully on November 29th at Holmberg House in Abbotsford in her 85th year.

Born in Leeds, England she emigrated in 1954 where she met Brian and raised their family in the Lower Mainland. Brian and Jane had a love for travelling including driving to South America in the 1960s, holidays around the west coast, through the US, and numerous trips to remote islands in the South Pacific.  Their favourite spot was the cabin on Marshall Lake. There are endless stories to be told if you want to hear them again!

She had hobbies that defined her life and pulled in many circles of friends - rockhounding, jewelry making, raising llamas and spinning the fibre and in the last few years, learning to play the ukulele.

Jane will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Brian, sons Geoff (Sandi) and John (Joanne), and grandsons Graham, Ethan, Michael and Derek, cousins in England, extended family, and countless dear friends.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Holmberg House. The comfort and care that they provided to Jane and the family was incredible.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the new year. Bring your happy memories, but not your tears.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's memory to the Abbotsford Hospice Society are appreciated.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
