Violet “Vi” Rigelsford, late of Abbotsford, formerly of Maple Ridge passed away on January 12, 2006 at the age of 89 at MSA Hospital.
She is survived by daughter Valarie (Maurice) Cephas of Abbotsford; granddaughter Chantelle of Abbotsford; brother Tom (Irene) Evans of Abbotsford; 4 sisters May Elizabeth Carroll, Rosemary (Viv) Thorpe, Olive Champion all of Maple Ridge, and Sylvia Wenlock of England, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband Jack and son David.
Vi was a member of the Abbotsford Legion, Branch #15 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a very loving and caring person and will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday January 19 at 2:00 pm from St. John The Divine Anglican Church, 21299 River Road (corner of Lady and River Rd.) in Maple Ridge with Rev. Charles Balfour officiating.
