BOEHM

Violet (nee-Hillyard)

Most loved mother and grandmother in the world. Born in Nelson, B.C. on July 8, 1921, passed away in peace Nov. 15, 2006. Violet resided in Abbotsford since 1996. She was predeceased by her first husband George King in 1966 and her second husband William Boehm in 1998. She is survived by her sons Don King and Bob King (Pat) and her devoted daughters Susan Pelzer (Jim) and Kathryn Mangnus (Mike), grandchildren Joseph Pelzer (Cassandra), Rebekah Paul (Devron), William King (Erin), Marion Crotty (Donavan), Barbara King and all other loved family members and friends. This woman was so adored by everyone who had the privilege of being in her company. She was witty, intelligent and hardworking. Her will to overcome medical adversities was unbelievable. On June 14, 1996 she went on record at St. Paul's hospital for having had 9 bypasses all at the same time! Her thumb was so green she could grow a huge cactus from a tiny seed. Everyday spent with her was a joyous day for her family and friends. Everyday spent without her will be very sad. November 15, 2006 will go down in history as the stormiest of nights when the wind raged and the rain fell like the tears from her daughters' eyes. Sleep well “cutie pie” until we hold you in our arms once more.

The Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Pinnacle Room at the Ramada Inn. 36035 North Parallel Road, Abbotsford. Refreshments to follow.
