Violet G. Anderson passed away Friday, November 28, 2003 at the age of 89 years, at the Extended Care Unit of Mission Memorial Hospital. Vi was born in Moosed Jaw, Saskatchewan.
She was in the CWAC from 1944 to 1947, serving two years in England in the Postal Corps. On her discharge she came to B.C., living in different locations and then settling in Squamish. She suffered a stroke in 1985 and brought to ECU in Mission where she was a resident until her passing. She is survived by one sister Ella Brooks, sisters-in-law Grace and Clara Anderson, nieces and nephews.
A special thank to Dr. Johnson and all Vi's caregivers at ECU. Cremation, followed by a graveside service on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Hatzic Cemetery, Mission.
