Victor Ross of Summerland, BC passed away at the age of 73 years. Vic is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Myrtle; daughters Marcia (Dale), Darlene (Jim), sons Lindsey and Dwayne. Vic was predeceased by his youngest son Darrell (Janie) on October 11, 2005. He was also preÂdeceased by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Vic was born in Lenney, SK but in 1966 settled his family in Abbotsford where he worked for Corrections Canada for 23 years. Vic and Myrtle retired to Summerland in 2003 but Vic still considered Abbotsford home.
Memorial services will take place at the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, BC on Wednesday, October 17 at 1:00 pm. In Victor's honor, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation. Condolences may be directed to the family at:
