GOERTZ, Vernon Raymond. A gentle, kind, loving, faithful husband, father and grandfather, Vern has gone home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the early morning on October 16, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents Jacob and Elizabeth, brother Orval, nephews Ronald and Bradley and daughter-in-law Sheila. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Marian, two sons Gary (Elaine) and Jim (Irene), three daughters Brenda (Bert Gillman), Diane (Panteli Mousouliotis) and Marcia (John Viggiani) and seventeen grandchildren, as well as siblings Evelyn Seifred, Donald and Clinton. Born February 11, 1926 in Hodgville Saskatchewan, Vern moved to BC in 1947 with his parents and siblings. He and his brother and their wives owned and operated Montrose Dry Cleaners in Abbotsford for over 25 years. A Memorial Service was held Friday October 19th at 1:30 pm at the Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly.
