Verdie Carolyn Fulford passed away June 20, 2014 in Chilliwack, BC, after a prolonged battle with Lyme Disease. She was born May 27, 1940 in McBride, BC; a graduate of Royal Inland School of Nursing (Kamloops), 1960. Verdie was pre-deceased by her parents, Bert and Mae Leboe; her first husband Ornan Froehlich and two siblings. She leaves behind her husband Raymond Fulford; children Janene Dirks, Brenton Froehlich, Jaqueline Noske and Clinton Froehlich; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 5 siblings. Verdie was a long-time resident of both the Okanagan and the Fraser Valley. Two memorial services will be held: Friday July 18 at 11:00am, Cooke’s Presbyterian Church, 45825 Wellington Ave., Chilliwack and on Saturday, July 19 at 1:00pm, Westgate Church, 2221 Moose Road, West Kelowna. Donations may be made to the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
