V. Bernice Harder

January 3, 2019

February 15, 1928 - January 3, 2019
It is with sadness the family of Bernice Harder share her sudden passing in Abbotsford, BC. In her early days, Bernice answered the call of the Lord in pastoral ministry and enjoyed teaching bible classes in Saskatchewan. She was married to Edward Harder in 1955 and went on to serve in leadership with the Women's Missionary Fellowship while also working at the Bank of Montreal, selling Tuperware and Avon.

Bernice has been retired in Abbotsford for the past 22 years where she made many friends through her work with the Gideons and enjoyed fellowship through the Quilt Guild. Her keen and thoughtful mind and sense of concern will be greatly missed.

Bernice was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ed and very recently by her sister Aleita and brother Dwayne. She is survived by her brother Lloyd (Lorraine) of Abbotsford, brother-in-law Vern and sister-in-law Alene, son Melvin (Nancy) of Barrie, ON, three grandsons; Patrick, Mitchell, Trevor, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service to be held at Central Heights Church on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
