Tressa May Clarke

Tressa May Clarke, late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on February 27, 2017 at the age of 93. She is survived by her current husband, Cliff Christianson; son, Les; grandchildren, Thomas, Michael, Clifford, Josh, Carlie, Ria, Catie, Cimberly; great grandchildren, Conner Christian, Drake, Ava, Madison and Liam. She was predeceased by her first husband, Tom Clarke who passed away in 1969, and her daughter, Marie who passed away in 2006. Tressa was the first woman to hold Head Paymaster at Vancouver City Hall. Tressa loved dancing, polkas, socializing and politics. She and Tom were instrumental in forming the NDP. Tressa was well respected and loved by her family and peers. Always joking, she loved to tickle people, and was always positive and optimistic. After years, she met her childhood friend, Cliff Christianson who was with her till her passing. She made a positive impact on everyone she met and truly cared about their well-being.
