CARTER, "Tony"

Leslie Anthony passed away very peacefully after his battle with cancer. He is the youngest of 7 children to the late Fred and Edith Carter. He is survived by his soul mate and wife Michele, three stepchildren Bary, Annie and Mike, loving sisters Doris, Audrey, and Jean, loving brothers Michael, Fred (Grace) and John, along with his precious nieces, nephews, their children, and best friend Al. Tony was born in Marple, England and moved to Canada in 1958. He worked for the BC Ferries for a short time and then later went into the steel industry for 40 years. He will be remembered for his love of soccer, ships, trains, and his wonderful sense of humour. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed and loved forever. We want to thank the staff of Cheam 2 oncology and palliative wards at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital, for the care and true compassion they have shown both to Tony and his family. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at 1:00 pm at The Parish of St. George, 9160 Church Street, Fort Langley, B.C.
