MULVANEY; Tom
Tom Mulvaney passed away peacefully on July 3, 2016. Tom was predeceased by his wife, Jean, of almost 50 years. He leaves behind his daughters; Dinah, Patty (Andy) and Tara (Brian), grandchildren; Tyler (Natascha), Megan (Steve), Kelsey, Derek, Rachel, Jessica, and Katie and great grandsons; Jesse and Luka. Also left behind is his companion and special friend, Anne. Tom was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 25, 1936. At a young age he joined the Canadian Air Force, married and began his family. His Air Force years were spent all across Canada and Europe, making friends and memories along the way. After retiring from the Air Force Tom had a second career with Imperial Oil. Tom and his wife, Jean spent their retirement years living in Abbotsford and spending winters in Arizona.
Tom was known for his quick wit, sense of humour, and love of sports; especially golf. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holmberg House Hospice, 32780 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC V2S 1J7 in memory of Tom Mulvaney. Condolences may be made online to Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Abbotsford Hospital and Holmberg Hospice House for the compassion, care and support they provided to our dad.
