Tina Kielstra (nee Kloosterman)
1925-2017
Tina passed peacefully into her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the age of 91. Tina was born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands on October 20, 1925. Tina and her husband John immigrated to Canada with three young sons in 1952, working towards their dream of owning their own dairy farm. Tina loved the outdoors, especially gardening, birds and riding her bike. She enjoyed travelling, reading, puzzles and coffee time with family, but most of all she loved her Lord. She was an active member of Gateway Community Christian Reformed Church in Abbotsford, BC. Tina was predeceased by her husband John in 1969. Tina was a loving mom to her six boys: Henry (Pat), Herman (Ricki), Hessel (Alice), Allan (Ruth), Ed (Cheryl), and Larry (Punk). She will be fondly remembered by 29 grandchildren and many great grandchildren throughout BC & Alberta. A memorial service was held on Monday, May 8 at 1PM at Gateway Community CRC Church in Abbotsford, with a reception following.
