Thelma Evelyn passed away at Cottonwoods Care Centre in Kelowna on January 25, 2005.
Thelma was born June 21, 1915 in Lady Lake, Sask. She married Graham “Ed” Hickling in Flin Flon in 1942. They lived in Flin Flon, The Pas, Kelowna, and Merritt. After retirement they lived in Abbotsford, Vernon and Kelowna. Thelma and Ed were very active in community affairs.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband in 1998, a brother and a sister. She is survived by a sister and two sons: Graham (“Ted”) and his wife Sandra of Victoria; grandson Jeff (Anne); two great grandsons Andrew and Matthue; son Tom of Ottawa and grandsons Mark and Andrew.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
