Terrance Robert COURTICE

February 27, 2005

Terrance Robert

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Terrance Courtice. He was taken from us on February 27, 2005 in Maple Ridge, BC.

Terrance was born on June 24, 1981 in Brandon, Manitoba where he lived until the family moved to Mission, BC in 1992. Predeceased by his two grandfathers, Terrance leaves to mourn his Mom and Dad, Romona and Fred; his sister, Heather; his two grandmothers, Adella Svistovski and Ella Courtice; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and all those who had the good fortune to know him.

While living in Brandon, Terrance attended Riverview and George Fitton Elementary schools. After moving to Mission he attended Christine Morrison Elementary school, later graduating from Mission Secondary. Terrance was then employed as a “Town Driver” for Lordco Auto Parts in Mission.

Terrance had many interests and enjoyed life to the fullest. Some of his interests included camping, canoeing, fishing, snowmobiling, and dirt biking. He cared for his horse “Freckles” and his dog “Max”, along with other dogs, cats and cows on his grandparent’s farm. His heart would swell with joy when he was given the opportunity to drive the combine, trucks and tractors to help get the farm work done.

Terrance found great pleasure in listening and singing to all kinds of music. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his friends and it was a pleasure to see them gather in “The Boom Boom Room”. His most recent passion was spending countless hours jet skiing in the summer time as well as continuously working on his Mazda low-rider truck which he had taken so much pride and joy in.

A “Celebration of Life” memorial service for Terrance was held at the Cedar Valley Mennonite Church in Mission on Monday, March 7th, 2005.

Terrance was a special young man who was known for his smile and laughter, kindness and loyalty, sense of humour and charm, and for his free-spirited love of life. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

I know a smile I'd like to see,

A hand I'd like to touch.

I know a voice I'd like to hear,

A face I loved so much.

There is a corner in my heart,

You visit every day.

A special place that's yours alone,

And where you'll always stay.
