QUEITSCH - Teressa

Teressa Leone Queitsch (nee Wards) of Calgary, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the age of 55 years. The daughter of Douglas and Leona Wards, Teressa was born in Williams Lake B.C. but spent her youth and early adult years in Abbotsford B.C. She moved to Calgary Alberta in 1980 where she has resided ever since. Teressa was an artistic person and her spirit will live on in her many creations. She treasured her garden and especially her wonderful display of flowers. She also esteemed animals and cared lovingly over the years for many pets. She will also surely be missed by her spirited dog Noka. Teressa is survived by her loving husband Roland Queitsch, her two brothers, Larry Wards of Aldergrove B.C. and Rick Wards of Calgary Alberta and sister Debbie Wards of Abbotsford B.C. Her family will miss her warm and giving heart. A Funeral Service for Teressa will be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd, (408- 38 Street SW) on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. An Internment of Ashes and Graveside Service will be held at Musselwhite Cemetery, Abbotsford B.C. (35000 Block, Old Yale Road) on Saturday October 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of Teressa's life will follow at Straiton Community Hall, (4698 Upper Sumas Mountain Rd, Abbotsford BC). A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
