July 20, 1919 - April 21, 2010
Ted passed into the presence of his Lord at the age of 90 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Irene, his daughter Maureen (Larry) Mierau, his son Dennis (Karin), 5 grandchildren - Kevin (Julie), Janelle (Dustin), Jessica (Anthony), Dustin, Brayden (Courtney) and 4 great grandchildren - Jaylene, Katelyn, Justas and Lukas. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ed Schinkel, many nephews and nieces who were so very special to him.
Ted worked at CFB Chilliwack for over 20 years, later retiring in Abbotsford where he enjoyed going for long walks and bowling. The family wishes to thank the staff at Bevan Lodge for their loving care throughout Ted's stay there.
A time for visitation will be from 7 - 9 pm, Thursday, April 29 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road. Graveside service is at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 30 at the Maclure Road Cemetery with the Memorial Service following at 11:00 am at Grace Church, 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gideon's would be greatly appreciated.
