Tara Lynn Johnston of Edmonton formerly of Abbotsford, B.C., passed away suddenly at the age of 28 years.

Tara will be sadly missed by her loving partner, Luc Cote; by her mother, Debbie (Leo) Ferraro; her father, Ken Johnston; brother, Gordon Johnston; step-brother, Michael (Michelle) Campbell; nephew, Gage Johnston.

Tara will also be fondly remembered by her maternal grandmother, Grace McBain; paternal grandfather, Chester “Ken” Johnston; grandparents, Doug (Ruth) Campbell; by Luc’s parents, Camille (Yvette) Cote; Luc’s sister, Denise (Marc) Doucette; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Tara was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Albert McBain; and by her paternal grandmother, Laura Johnston.

Tara will be remembered for her beautiful smile, beautiful red hair and sparkling eyes that would bring joy to everyone.

A Funeral was held on Saturday, January 18, 2003 in Edmonton. A celebration of life will be held at Sevenoaks Alliance Church at 2575 Gladwin Road on Sunday, February 9, 2003 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Tara’s dear friend Jill.
