Susan (nee Fraser)
With great sadness it is announced that Susan passed away suddenly on September 19, 2008 in a tragic vehicle collision in Brooks, Alberta while returning home from a cross-Canada vacation with her husband and 2 canine companions.
Born on September 23, 1945 in Vancouver, BC and raised in North Vancouver, she attended Ridgeway Elementary and North Van High. Susan possessed many wonderful qualities that will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her. She was a loving and caring sister, mother, aunt, wife, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by Spencer, her loving husband of thirty years, daughter Susan (David), son Sean (Renee) and sisters Edith, Marjorie and Maureen and brother Gordon, and her mother Marjorie. She is predeceased by her father Duncan and brother Allan.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" Ceilidh on Saturday, October 11, 2008, between 1:00 and 4:00 PM at the Slater Ridge Estates Activity Centre in Abbotsford situated at 3555 Blue Jay Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the BC Cancer Foundation or the BCSPCA. Donation brochures for each will be available at the Ceilidh.
