March 24, 1963 - August 5, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen O'Donnell, beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend. Stephen passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a life well-lived.

Stephen was born at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, BC and among many achievements, enjoyed a fulfilling 36-year career with Telus as a CGA/CPA and well-respected Treasury Manager. He was devoted to his family and is survived by his loving wife, Wendy, their two children, Sarah and Liam, his father and mother, William, and Jeanette, and his two brothers, Michael, and Shawn.

Steve was a man of many passions, with a deep love for music that took him to countless concerts, his most favoured band being Rush who he saw live 13 times. He was also a dedicated sports enthusiast, both as an avid golfer and a proud supporter of the Seahawks and Canucks. His love for hockey was especially meaningful, as it brought him closer to his family—whether cheering on the Canucks with his daughter or coaching his son's hockey team with the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association.

Steve was a huge social butterfly, whose friends extended into many circles. Often the "life of the party" he was admired greatly for his sense of humour, good conversation skills and an innate ability to get along with just about anyone.

Steve was a man of faith who held a strong moral compass, staying true to his convictions. Above all, he was a fiercely protective and loving family man. He will be remembered for his warmth, infectious laugh, and fun-loving personality. His spirit will continue to inspire us all

A celebration of Stephen's life will be held on November 16, 2024, at Northview Community Church-Mission Campus at 1pm, 33507 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Mission, BC V2V 6Y3
