He was the second oldest of seven children and grew up in Aldergrove. He fell in love with wife Frieda at a young age and by age 26 had 3 young children. They lived their life together as a family in Langley and shortly after lost his beloved wife Frieda. Together with his family, he raised his kids in Langley and eventually making his way to Abbotsford. Steve spent most of his life working as a professional truck driver and is fondly remembered by fellow drivers as a great teacher who taught them “all they know”. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden. Steve had a zest for life and loved to have fun. We will miss his smile, twinkle in his eye and the way he could tell it like he saw it.
