RADCLIFFE
Mr Stanley Radcliffe passed away peacefully on February 24, 2010 at the age of 83 at Menno Hospital in Abbotsford. He will be lovingly remembered by Gloria, his wife of 62 years, his five children; Jim (Marysia), Sheila (Gord), Jeanne (John), Maureen and Ken (Lynda), 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, plus extended family members, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an older brother and 5 sisters. Stan was born in Saskatoon and migrated to Vancouver with his family at an early age. He served in the Navy in WWII, returning to Vancouver in 1945 where he rejoined the Orange Crush company as a driver/sales person. Stan's career with this company spanned some 45 years, taking him and his family across Canada with stops in Winnipeg, Calgary, London and Toronto, eventually returning to BC as Area Manager in 1976, retiring in 1986. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1pm to 4pm on March 6, 2010 in the rec hall of Carriage Lane Estates, 32691 Garibaldi Dr, Abbotsford, BC. The family would like to thank the staff of Menno Hospital for their care and kindness in attending to Stan's needs.
