Sonia Chase

Mary (Sonia) Chase passed away peacefully on August 22, 2019 at 11:57 pm at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario. Sonia married Frank Chase and had a daughter Dana. After travelling to Bermuda and Inuvik while Frank served in the Armed Forces they settled in Abbotsford, BC in 1980. She was a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Dana Kayser, son-in-law Kurt Kayser, granddaughters Danika, Alise and Makenna Kayser, as well as sister-in-law Reta Hatfield. Sonia lived in the Menno Pavillion independently the last few years where she made many lovely friendships.
