VOLKER; Shirley. Shirley Anne Volker, 77, of Aldergrove, BC, passed away on August 17, 2014. Shirley was predeceased by her sister June and brother Teddy. She is survived by her husband Lorne, brother Chuck, daughter Kathy, sons Wade and Darrell, several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Shirley was a mother, hairdresser, motel operator, and residential building manager in several regions in BC. Throughout her life she was a loving, caring and hardworking lady. We will miss her dearly and we hope she can rest in peace. There will be no service as per Shirley's request. The family would like to thank the staff at Jackman Manor. They ensured the last couple years of her life were as carefree and comfortable as possible.
