Shirley Mae Stewart (nee Cameron and formerly Inrig) went to her heavenly home on Feb. 16, 2012 in Mission, BC. She was born in Mitchell, ON on September 13, 1930 and was born again on April 10, 1942. Shirley is survived by 6 step-daughters and 1 step-son, Janice Rutgers (Ken) of Bellingham, WA
Lynne Sweet (Steve) of Apache Junction, AZ, Suzanne Sorensen (Gordon) of Edmonton, AB, John Stewart (Priscilla) of Montgomery, AL, Jeanne Bryden (Murray) of Victoria, Sandi Hess (Danny) of Victoria, Debby Kendz (Mitch) of Victoria. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Madeline Alce of Ontario, nieces, nephews and many friends. Pre-deceased by her first husband, George Inrig, second husband, David Stewart, 3 brothers and their wives, 1 sister, 2 brother-in-laws, 1 nephew and 2 nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at Central Heights MB Church, 1661 McCallum Road, Abbotsford on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Central Heights Church, Young Life Canada or to the Christine Morrison Hospice.
