Shirley Alice Tubman, late of Abbotsford, B.C. and formerly of Mission, B.C. passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at age 74 years. She was predeceased by her 4 children, Tom Greeta, Herbie and Miltie; husband Milton; parents Grecta and Bert; and brother Ken.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Joelyn (Peter) and Patti; grandchildren Amy, Rose, Timmy, Denise, Amber, Sara and James; great-grandchildren Austin, Olivia and Nicholas; brother Ron (Kay), nephews Rick (Freda) and Les; niece Pat (Ken); and numerous relatives and in-laws.
A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, October 5, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, with Pastor Hesje officiating.
Interment followed on Monday, October 6, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Hatzic Cemetery. If desired, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
