PULTZ Sherry Gail

Sherry passed away quietly at home, with her family at her side, on June 28th 2009, at the age of 61. She was an intelligent, generous, and hardworking woman with an indomitable will, who firmly believed that she could handle anything life threw at her, and that her children could do anything they set their minds to. Sherry is survived by her four children - LeeAnn, Jason, Michael and David - who feel incredibly lucky to have had her for a mother. Sherry was born December 1st, 1947 in Regina, SK and grew up on a farm with her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She moved to Abbotsford in 1969 and made it her home for the next 40 years. She was very active in the school system, most particularly with Canadian Parents for French, and was a bookkeeper and business owner. She is deeply loved by her children, family and friends, and will be truly missed. The family would also like to express our deep appreciation for the nurses of the Palliative Care unit for their assistance during this time. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 6th, 2009 at 7pm at the Cascade Community Church located at 35190 Delair Road, Abbotsford, with a short reception following. Those wishing to send condolences can email leeann@mrhost.ca to be shared with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital in support of Palliative Care (FVHC Foundation 32900 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford, BC V2S 0C2 604-851-4890, would be greatly appreciated.
