ANNESLEY; Sheila May

(nee Thompson)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila May Annesley. Sheila passed away peacefully at Maplewood on the 8th of May, 2016. Sheila was born on the 6th of May, 1928 in Bethune, Saskatchewan. In her early years she moved with her family to Vancouver, where she then met her husband of 51 years. After getting married they move to Surrey where they raised three children, then moving to her final residence in Abbotsford, BC. Sheila (Wife, Mother, Auntie & Grandma) enjoyed spending time with her family, nephew and nieces, grandchildren, as well as bowling, knitting, sewing and gardening. She was a kind person who would lend a helping hand if anyone was in need. Sheila is predeceased by her sister Margaret Hazel (Jim) and her husband Donald. She is survived by her children, Mike (Gina), Dave (Darcie), Patti Ginther (Chris): grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, James and Shelby, as well as her brother-in-law Jim Hazel and sister-in-law Edith Annesley. We would also like to thank the staff at Fraser Health HomeCare, which helped Sheila stay in her home up until December 2015. We would also like to thank the staff at Maplewood for their loving care and patience with Sheila. She will be sadly missed as she was loved by all. At the request of the family there will be no service held. In lieu of flowers, contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Sheila's name.
