Paget, Sharon
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Paget (nee De Fehr) at the Chilliwack General Hospital after her battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Michael; her dear teenage sons, Brett and Gareth; her parents, Arnie and Lorna De Fehr and her brothers Steven and Randall De Fehr.
The family would like to take this time to thank all who came to help her through the battle. There is the Evan's Elementary Gang, and the Sardis Park neighbourhood, the Chilliwack Center of Excellence Kayak Club and all the numerous friends who were there when she needed. Your cards and letters, flowers and meals were appreciated by Sharon and provided encouragement in her battle with cancer. Also, to the ever so kind chemo nurses and doctors at the Chilliwack Hospital, thank you so much for being supportive of Sharon.
"You can shed tears that she is gone, you can smile because she lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she will return, or open your eyes and see all that she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the life that you have shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she would want…. Open your eyes, love and go on."
A Celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack, BC. If family and friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society would be appreciated.
