It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Shane Gourley, on August 6, 2019. Shane was born on April 8, 1957 in Vancouver, BC and he was always proud to say he was a true "BC Boy"! Shane moved to Abbotsford in 1995 with his family and raised them here. He was a volunteer firefighter with Hall 7 and had many enjoyable years there. We are thankful that he was able to meet his 1st grandchild, Micah, born on July 31, 2019 to Jamie and Kris. Dad, you've touched the lives of countless people, and will always remain in our hearts. We love you and will miss you, Jamie, Tyler and Angela.
A celebration of Shane's life will be held on Saturday, August 24 at 2 pm at Kingsway Foursquare, 4061 Kingsway Ave., Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the Salvation Army in Maple Ridge.
