Sarah, of Abbotsford, died peacefully on Sept. 28, 2005 with her husband Alfred at her side.
Mom was predeceased by both her parents, Jacob and Sarah Sawatsky; one brother, Jack Sawatsky; and one sister, Tina Sawatsky at infancy.
Sarah leaves behind to mourn her passing, her husband, Alfred; four children: Carol (Jack) Ellis, Randy Buhr, Della (George) Friesen and Doris (James) Janzen. She also leaves two brothers, Ben Sawatsky of Winnipeg, MB, Henry Sawatsky of Altona, MB, and two sisters, Mary Falk of Altona, MB and Helen Nelson of Calgary, AB, as well as nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Mom's life will be held at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, 3471 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford on Monday, Oct. 3, 2005 at 1:00 pm.
We will miss you greatly but we know you are with God and someday we will meet again.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
