Sara passed away peacefully surrounded by family, marking the end of a 19-year courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her Dad, Raymond Stead and father-in-law Bob Davis. Survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years Robert. She will be greatly missed by her sons Greg (Nichola), Jeff, and Mark (Laura). Sara was an adoring Nana to her four grandchildren Eric, Daphne, Robby and Ashley. Left with heavy hearts mother Barb Stead, mother-in-law Violet, sister Isabel Jennifer, and family friend Angela. Her loving spirit will also live on in the hearts and memories of many extended family members and dear friends. Sara enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with the Abbotsford District Teacher's Association and is fondly remembered by many colleagues. Born in Reading, Berkshire, England, late of Abbotsford, Sara was a wonderful woman full of grace, dignity, and a great love for her family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Memorial United Church located at 33737 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford.
