Sandra Agnes Grant. nee Philps. Dec. 22nd, 1950 - May 27th 2011. After a very brief, courageous battle with lung cancer, Sandra passed away peacefully at home on May 27th, surrounded by her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by her husband Wayne, her son David (Yvonne) grand daughters Samara and Jessica, daughter Karen (Justin) parents Fred and Margaret Philps, sister Peggy, brothers Fred (Bonnie), Henry (Ann), Bob (Debbie). Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her niece Brenda. Sandra was an active, hard working partner in the family business and had just entered into the years of relaxation and retirement, with a lot of travel plans and spending more time with family and friends. She was always in the background working hard and never seeking glory. She was the wind in the sails. She loved her family, camping, fishing, traveling, casinos and gardening especially preserving the fruits of her labor and preparing tantalizing culinary delights.
