ISAAK
Sally Isaak (nee Schroeder) late of Abbotsford passed away on January 19, 2009 in her 83rd year at Abbotsford Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband Frank and three step-children: Ruth (husband Clarence Braun) of Beamsville, ON, Irene (husband Jack Schellenberg) of Steinbach, MB and Don (wife Lorraine) of Abbotsford; nine grandchildren; eleven great-children; sister Mary Loewen and brothers Bill, Harold, Len and George along with their spouses and children. She was predeceased by her sister Elfrieda Bergman and brother Wally.
Sally served as a missionary in radio broadcasting with HCJB in Quito, Ecuador for 30 years. After retirement she married Frank and took up residence in Abbotsford. She was active in the community and in Bakerview M. B. Church where she started the Spanish services and was involved in care groups and prayer ministry.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, January 27, 10:30 am at Henderson’s Funeral Chapel, 34537 Marshall Road followed by burial at Maclure Mennonite Cemetery. The memorial service will be at 1:30 pm, January 27 at Bakerview M. B. Church with Pastor Ray Harris officiating. Donations may be made to HCJB or a charity of your choice.
