GOERZEN Rudy. 1921 ~ 2012. On Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 Rudy Goerzen, age 90, of Abbotsford, went to be with his Lord and Saviour. He leaves to mourn his passing his dear wife Katherine (Kay) of 65 years; one son Ric (Helen); two daughters Carolyn (Bruno) Braun and Rosalea (Don) Minosky; seven grandchildren: Brian Goerzen, Jodi Goerzen, Chad Braun, Cameron Braun, Joel Braun, Jesse Minosky and Luke Minosky; as well as one sister Agatha (Abe) Plett; two brothers Art (Deloris) and Ed (Helen Ann) and their families. Viewing will be held Sunday, June 3rd between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. and also prior to the service, at Bethel Mennonite Church, 24687-56 Avenue, Langley. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church with Pastor Phil Wheaton officiating. A heartfelt thank you is extended to all the care staff in Worthington Pavilion and Menno Hospital for the compassionate and loving care that they provided for Rudy.
